We work closely with local organisations to obtain funding that enable us to host free childrens activities and events throughout the year.
In October 2022 we had an amazing opportunity for children in our local community to attend a FREE Performing Arts Course during half term.
The aim of the week long course was to teach children aged 8-15yrs how to sing, dance and act in a fun and creative environment. Hosted by a team of professionals from the world of TV, stage and music, the children learnt a range of skills including choreography, dance, musical theatre, singing, acting and circus skills.
It was a fantastic week which ended with the children putting on an impressive show at the Meriden Community Centre to showcase their newly learnt skills.
We are proud to have been able to support families in our area and to give their children a chance to develop their performing arts skills, make new friends, and more importantly to build confidence and boost self-esteem.
We'll be advertising the dates for our 2023 events and childrens activities soon.
We are planning a series of local events throughout the year to help raise valuable funds to support those in need and to bring our community together.
We will advertise these events in our charity shop, in the local community centres, children's clubs and schools, so please keep a look out for notifications and get involved if you can to help us support everyone in the community. For more information about You Matter, to make a donation or to offer your help, please call us on 01923 517071 or complete the form opposite - we'd love to hear from you.
